OpenAIRE Workshop on Open Science Publishing Practices and Prospects
14:00 – 16:00, 31st of January, 2018
Area della Ricerca del CNR, Main Auditorium (Building 1)
With the advent of Open Science, science must evolve to support new scholarly publishing workflows, characterized by novel kinds of products, such as research data and software, and objectives, such as reproducibility, transparent evaluation of science, and new scientific reward mechanisms. The workshop programs six presentations from major experts in the field, who will expose what they believe to be the major challenges raised by Open Science today in the way research products are published, shared, and accessed in support of scholarly communication and publishing workflows.
